Civil Site Agent – Micro Tunnelling

Opportunities exist for Site Agents/Superintendents to join a great team that has built a solid reputation in delivering civil construction works based in two great locations of Australia.
This role is gives you the opportunity to show your leadership and managerial skills that you have developed over 5-10 years of civil experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited too:
- Manage and provide leadership to the project, developing annual and short-term business plans and strategies to maximise the returns on the contract, and work plans to optimise the utilisation of personnel, equipment and materials resources.
- Liaison with the Design, Engineering and Technical Managers during the project design phase. This shall include involvement in design development, review of drawings and specifications to ensure that the design complies with the technical, construction, functional and operational requirements of the Contract.
- Input into the documentation and review process of technical procedures, Safe work method statements and work instructions.
- Achieve operational performance targets as measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) eg. Delivery dates and contract specifications (quality)
- Implementation of the requirements of technical procedures, SWMS (safe work method statements) and work instructions.
- Liaison with the Contracts Manager and involvement in the preparation of tender documentation, technical review of tenders and commercial negotiations with tenders
- You will also take on Safety matters as directed by company along with Environmental, Cultural Heritage and Quality Plans.
Ideally you will have several years’ exposure to Micro Tunnelling projects and degree qualified, though candidates without a degree but sufficient experience are still encouraged to apply.
